For those who are reading this writing of mine, must be wondering why “Vision for Old Age”…?????cause normally when we talk about vision..we mean a lot of other things in life…beauty of life…etc..etc..and never vision for old age, right?????but after visited the old folks home this afternoon, then i started to think about this…”Vision for Old Age”…i think no one ever want to have a vision where they want to go or where they are heading to when they are old cause we never want to accept that we will become old one day but i think it is important that this should be in our planning too.

As usual, thursday afternoon is my visiting of old folk home with my church team member and we normally spent two hours to visit two old folks home here and this afternoon when i walked into the first old folk home, i found that the crowd has become bigger and more aunties and uncles were there, some in their 80s, 70s and 60s.

I am just wondering have they thought that they will be staying in such places when they were young?????? i think definately the answer is “NO”…even if you ask me now…i think i will tell you that i wont stay in old folks home when i am old one day.  It is very sad, cause when the person become old, he or she has to stay away from family members and stay into a house with all those aunties and uncles whom he or she never met before or rather stranger to them.

I think in order to avoid such things happen to us, i think we better do include this agenda into our planning or rather into our financial planning so that at least we have planned well ahead where are we going to be or rather where are we going to stay when we are old.  If we do not have such vision now and plan it accordingly, then we are actually gambling on our own old age life.

Then you might say…how?????how to plan?????i think the question is still how much retirement fund you have planned for yourself , or rather beside retirement fund, maybe you can consider to have a small house or a small apartment whereby you can stay when you are old, at least you know you have a place to stay no matter what happen.

Then you might say…am i advertising my business again..i.e. retirement fund planning…well…i do admit that my business is about sharing with people…how to create retirement fund, emergency fund, income protection and so on…but today the reason i am writing my sharing here on this subject is a deep thoughts from the bottom of my heart…so friends..do plan well for it..so that you wont regret when you are old ..that is too late..my friend.
